Almond-Joy Sarahbar:)

Calling all Larabar lovers! I pretty much rely on Larabars to tide me over in between meals. They are gluten free, vegan, filling, and there are so many flavors to choose from - but they are so expensive. I thought I would try to recreate my favorite Larabar to save some cash! My almond joy Sarahbar only has 5 ingredients! Try it out:)



Ingredients for batch of 10 bars:

15-20 pitted whole dates

1/2 cup gluten free oats

handful vegan dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup shredded coconut (I used sweetened)

1/4 cup of sliced almonds



Directions:

1) Using food processor, process dates until they have formed a sticky ball, remove from food processor and set aside

2) Process almonds, oats, and coconut until your preferred texture

3) Using your hands (sticky, but it works the best), fold the dry ingredients and chocolate chips into the crushed dates until well mixed

4) Again, using your hands, form into either bite sized balls or bars!

5) Enjoy:)
